Your first encounter with the Mem (Mm) is in the creation story. In the very beginning of creation you enter the space of mystery, spirit and receptivity. The vibration of thirteen is that of mystery and magic. It is a number now in motion. You are the number thirteen when you become all 12 archetypes distinctive of the zodiac signs in spiritual traditions.

The divine wind swept over the waters. This element of creation is the vitalizing fluid of your nature. Water is the picture symbol of the Mem, the letter 'Mm'. It is a carrier of the life essence that rejuvenates, regenerates and renews your atomic and cellular grid design. Six-pointed crystals have been observed in water when the water was blessed. These crystals relate to balance and the star of David, a symbol of humanity.

One of your major initiations will be the water initiation. When you are an initiate of water, you have taken full command of your emotional life that now you are a comfort to others because of your emotional balance, peace and serenity. Once you arrive in this degree of soul evolution, you will be in the flow of magical powers. The symbolism of "walking on water" represents water initiation. This initiation enhances your magical power of transforming the waters of the earth. Pure, vitalizing water supports cellular metabolism and regeneration.

In the Hebrew alphabet the Mem is identified as one of the three Mother letters, Aleph, Mem and Schin. These letters relate to the three elements, fire, water and air, and are recognized as a trinity of power and light in resonance with the three creative sounds, the 1-3-5 chord of a musical scale. Aleph, the divine fire, correlates with your head center; Mem, the feminine light, corresponds with your heart; whereas, Schin represents your body potential. Your head, heart and body, in their divine reality, are centers of light and power.

The number that resonates with the Hebrew Mem (Mm) is forty. In working with this letter you refine, perfect and complete what is coded in the number 4, the Dalet (Dd). This letter represents the door you come through to experience in the physical world.
