The Crown of Life
Kaf (Kk)

In the Scriptures of Light we are advised to be faithful to the wisdom teachings. When we follow this counsel, we are given the crown of life.

What do we associate with the crown? We know that kings and queens wear a crown. In some cultures and initiations there are ceremonial forms of crowning, honoring high attainment. The crown symbol implies royalty, rulership, nobility, sovereignty and power. We earn our high degrees by living the qualities represented by the Tree of Life. Sovereignty means that we have full jurisdiction of our life. The symbology of the crown relates to the twelve cranial nerves. Coded within the dense nerves is the golden halo, the visual manifestation of the spiritualized mind. This crown of life is likewise symbolized by the woman of Revelation who is crowned with twelve stars.

Royal Power

The headdress of the Egyptian Maiden is another emblem of the spiritualized mind. Through directing her will, the maiden is now in full power of her regal nature. We see her closing the mouth of the lion. This lets us know that she has complete command of her desire nature, the fiery passions now translated into compassion and universal dedicated love. The lion is the power symbol of the constellation Leo. When we are the archetype of this zodiac sign, we stand in our own strength of self-reliance, and our heart is aflame with sacred love. The palm, the picture symbol of the letter K, reminds us that our love power is to be directed outward, k. The second lesson teaches that the letter 'B' (Bet) embodies wisdom, mystery and beginnings. The Bet takes us inside where we contemplate how we are going to direct the life that we are. In the context of the Kaf, we put into sacred form the decisions we made from the intuitions we received while in silence. Whatever our form of contribution is in creating a world of rainbow qualities, it will carry wisdom and understanding when we are aligned with the Kaf.

The Royal Letter Kaf (Kk)

How we view authority shows up in handwriting by the way we form our letter 'Kk'. Self restrictions are reinforced when the letter 'Kk' is styled as . Depending upon its shape there may also be signs of deficiancy and rebellion. The powerful 'Kk' representing your ability to be connected to your own power, is constructed in a printed style, 'Kk'. The straight line indicates self-management and stature. This empowerment is attained by directing our life with the intuitive wisdom of the heart and the understanding of the higher mind. Once this unified approach becomes our way of life, we will be working with the powers of heaven and earth. Symbolically, this means we have the keys to the divine domain, partnership in universal life.

The letter 'Kk' is the eleventh letter in the chronological alphabet. It is the letter with which we prepare ourselves to receive the crown of life and the purple robe of royalty.

Soul Reflections
Take a Look
  1. Write three (3) of your noble qualities.
  2. What quality could you develop which would give you a greater sense of self-reliance?
  3. Would you be able to "close the mouth of the lion"? What are three (3) key desires you have? What part do these desires play in the overall vision you have for yourself?
  4. Write your style letter K. Do you use the cursive or printed form? Write the words take, make, took. What does the letter K look like in these words?
View how you see authority if you use any of the following K's in your handwriting:
What to Do
Be grateful for the qualities you have.
Focus on the quality that would give you a greater sense of self-reliance.
Develop desires that empower you.
Are there any authority figures uncomfortable for you? Write the ways these figures of authority threaten you. Strengthen the qualities within yourself that support you in being strong in your own wisdom and higher mind understanding.
